The German record champions strike back! Bayern underlined their title credentials with an impressive 5-0 victory over a resurgent Schalke. It was a fifth straight win for the Munich side – and what a win! Robert Lewandowski netted his 21st goal of this Bundesliga season, becoming only the second player after legend Gerd Müller in the 1972/73 season to reach that mark after 19 matchdays. Midfield engine Leon Goretzka crowned another strong performance with a stunning scissor kick, while Thomas Müller, Thiago and Serge Gnabry also got in on the act and showed how determined Bayern are to get back to the top!
